Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal information Microsoft Trainings collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and specific rather than generic.
Who we are
Microsoft Trainings provides live, instructor-led Microsoft certification training. For any question about this notice or your information, contact us at contact@microsofttrainings.com.
What we collect and why
Course enquiries. When you request a seat or send a message, we collect the name, email address, the exam or course you are interested in, your experience level, any preferred dates or times, and whatever you write in the message. We use this only to reply to you and to arrange your training. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you chose to send us, and taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
AI course advisor. If you use the advisor, the messages you type are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate an answer. Do not enter confidential information or personal details in the chat. We do not use these conversations to build a profile of you.
Exam checklist and resources. If you request a resource by email, we use your email address to send it and to reply to any follow-up.
Technical data. Our hosting provider processes standard server and security logs, such as IP address and browser type, to serve and protect the site.
Who processes your information
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf: Vercel for hosting and delivery, Resend for sending enquiry emails, and Google for the AI advisor responses. Where a live chat widget is enabled on the site, the chat provider processes the messages you send through it. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to answer you and to keep a record of the training discussion, then delete them when they are no longer relevant. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email contact@microsofttrainings.com and we will respond. If you are in the UK or the EU and you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to your data protection regulator.
Cookies
The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Any cookies present are strictly necessary to serve the site, or are set by a live chat widget to keep your conversation open while you browse.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page. Please check it again if it has been a while since your last enquiry.
